By Giving to the YMCA of Coastal Georgia’s Priceless Gifts Campaign, we are able to continue to offer programs and services that provide our members, as well as others in the community, the opportunity to grow in spirit, mind, and body. We have also expanded our reach through various community development offerings.
The 2010 Priceless Gifts Campaign goal is $500,000. 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to children and families in need. Imagine how your gift will help.
A gift of $5,000 would allow 5 children to attend Pryme Tyme Before and After School Care for an entire year.
A gift of $3,000 would provide 9 senior citizens with a year membership to the YMCA.
A gift $2,500 would allow 100 second graders in Liberty County to participate in the YES program to learn basic water safety and learn to be comfortable in the water.
A gift of $1,500 would allow 8 teens to participate in the Youth & Government program, allowing them to have a hands on experience in a simulated legislative process at the State Capital.
A gift of $1,250 would send one kid to camp for the entire summer.
A gift of $1,000 provides a one year membership to 18 families providing educational, physical and educational opportunities.
A gift of $750 would send 4 children to a week of Surf Camp on Tybee Island.
A gift of $500 would enable 5 children to participate in YMCA Youth Sports for one season.
A gift of $350 allows one child to attend Camp Kodiak, a week long over night camp for children with Diabetes.
A gift of $250 sends a child to 2 weeks of summer camp.
A gift of $100 assists a single parent with one month of After School Care.
A gift of $75 provides one child with the opportunity to play YMCA soccer for one season.
A gift of $50 assists a single parent with two Mother’s Morning out sessions so they can attend a job interview or another important appointment.
A gift of $25 provides one child with a private, 30 minute swimming lesson.
It is the policy of the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Inc. that no one who resides within it's service area will be denied access to membership or program services due to their inability to pay. We can help your family keep a healthy, positive attitude during periods of financial hardship by reducing stress and minimizing the feeling of sacrifice. Scholarship applications are available at the front desk of your branch , and all inquiries and assistance are strictly confidential.
