2013 YMCA Gymnastics National Championship
The YMCA of Coastal Georgia was selected by the YMCA of the USA to host the 2013 YMCA Gymnastics National Championship & Festival.
“I can’t express what an honor it is to be chosen as the host for this spectacular event” says Randy Bugos, President/CEO of the YMCA of Coastal Georgia. “We have a history of past success, serving as the host in ‘95, ‘99, and ‘03, and we look forward to continuing that same success in 2013”.
The event consists of a 3 day competition, and an Olympic style Opening Ceremony. The competition will take place at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center June 26th-29th, 2013. Opening Ceremonies will be held at Forsyth Park and will consist of dinner, carnival games, fireworks, and additional activities to be enjoyed by the gymnasts and their families.
The event brings thousands of participants into Savannah and will serve as an economic boost for the city. Savannah has a reputation of being the hostess city of the south, and with this event it will surpass all expectations.
