Islands YMCA Swim Instructors

Islands YMCA Lifeguard

A lifeguards primary responsibility is to ensure safety and injury prevention by enforcing all pool rules and regulations. Lifeguards are also responsible for maintaining daily logs on chemicals and facility usage. Also responsible for reporting any needed repairs to Head Lifeguard or Aquatics Director.
Must be Lifeguard Certified, Cpr/First Aid/AED for Lifeguards.

Lifeguard
Submitted by Aaron Karpas on April 17, 2012 - 8:56amA Lifeguard's primary responsibility is to ensure injury prevention by enforcing all rules and regulations of the pool and surrounding area.
In addition to rule enforcement, a Lifeguard is also responsible for chemical maintenance, recordkeeping, and should inspect the facility on a daily basis and report unsafe conditions or equipment to the office.
