2016 Summer Day Camp


Summer Camp Information will be availabe at the Habersham Welcome Center on March 15th, 2016. 

Traditional Day Camp or our Specialty Camps at the Habersham YMCA share one thing: they’re about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. And, of course, it’s fun too!

Mother's Morning Out

Our Mother’s Morning Out program provides an opportunity for children to laugh and play in a structured setting while growing intellectually, emotionally and socially. Children enjoy a warm atmosphere in which they have the opportunity to play and interact with our child watch kids.

Fun Club & Holiday Camp

Fun Club

Join the fun every afternoon in our licensed after-school program. We offer a variety of activities including arts & crafts, large and small group activities, snack time, swimming, field games, kid fit and homework time!  

Our program is licensed through the State of Georgia.

Monday-Friday 4pm-6pm.

Transportation is provided from Heard, J.G Smith and Hesse only.


Holiday Camp

We offer over 80 classes per week, which include Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, TRX, Functional Fitness, Senior, MVe, Spin and so much more!  ALL of which are included with your membership.

Full Time Child Care

With so many demands on today’s families, parents need all the support they can get. That’s why child care at the Y is about more than looking after kids. It’s about nurturing their development by providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Georgia Pre-K

Pre-K registration for 2016-2017 school year begins Monday, February 15th, 2016.  Children must be 4 by September 1, 2016 and registration forms are available at the Habersham YMCA Welcome Center.  We currently have a limited number of spots open for our 2015-2016 program, so please contact Brittany Childers at 912-721-3098 for information.

Youth Sports

The YMCA is the starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they’ll carry with them throughout their lives. And the benefits are far greater than just physical health. Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to swim or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the YMCA is about building the whole child, from the inside out.

Youth Gymnastics

2016 Winter Gymnastics information coming soon! Starting in January!

Get ready to roll, tumble and shake it up with our new Youth Gymnastics program!  The sessions will build core muscle strength, balance, and gross motor skills for kids.

Child Watch

Members are welcome to bring their children to Child Watch while they work out in the gym area or attend the fitness classes.  Children will enjoy both indoor and outdoor play, along with arts and craft activities, games, story time and old fashioned fun. 

Ages: 6 weeks to 12 years old

Monday -Friday 8:00 am -1:00 pm

Monday-Thursday 4:15 pm- 7:30 pm

Members are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to ensure quality and saftey, we operate with Y-set standards and ratios. 



Open Volleyball at the Habersham YMCA

Join in on the fun as we serve, set, and spike the afternoon away. The Habersham gymnasium will be available for open volleyball play for all those wishing to participate. Join other volleyball lovers for active play during this open gym time.
