INTO THE WYLD Summer Day Camp and Specialty Camps 2010
Effingham YMCA Day Camp
Whether it's through singing or swimming, through nature hikes or vacation bible school, counselors at YMCA day camp have led kids in developing good values -- and having fun -- for more than 110 summers.
YMCA day camp provides: Kids have fun while they learn how to make new friends, build new skills and grow in self-reliance. Y camp uses a natural setting to teach youth about the wonders of the world around them and how they can take good care of it.
For kids, Y camp is a fun way to enjoy the summer. For moms and dads, it's a way to give their children a positive developmental experience. And for parents who work outside the home, Y camp also serves as child care.
This summer we are going "Into the Wyld" and our tribes of children can look forward to many adventures! Whether a member of the Wadago, Maji, Jua or Moto Tribes, you can count on a camp experience like no other!
Specialty Camps are available as well for the 1/2 day experience or as an enrichment option on our full day program.
Day Camp is for ages 5 - 13 yrs old. Children must be 5 before the start of camp.
Camp for 4 year olds (Campers In Training) is available through our licensed 3 & 4 yr Preschool Program.
Please see attached flyers or call 826-2199 for more information.
