What is the Tybee Islands YMCA Teen Leaders Club?
Teen Leaders Club is a nationwide program of the YMCA, which connects young
people ages 12-18 with adult advisors to develop their leadership potential while
fostering a culture of service. With the help of role models and mentors, these teens
develop the skills they need to lead positive change in their communities. Find out
more HERE!
Tybee Y Teen Leaders Club currently has 6 active members. In 2025, these teens
have completed over 500 service hours! Since June, the Club has fundraised $2,935
toward Blue Ridge Leaders School 2026.
The Tybee Y Teen Leaders Club has officers, a constitution, and membership
requirements. These include community service hours, attendance, GPA, and fitness
testing. These teens are excellent members of our community, and strive for
leadership and character development in their daily lives as well as in Club.
