Gymnastics Team
Liberty ASYMCA offers a USAG compulsory competitive team program. The program is year-round and focuses on quality competitive training, friendship, dedication and fun. The team program competes in USAG and the YMCA National Gymnastics Championship.
The Islands YMCA Gymnastics Team is an award – winning program that produces gymnasts who are competitive at in USAG Xcel, USAG state, USAG regional and YMCA national levels. We are proud of our athletes that have achieved college levels and received college scholarships through our program.
Class participants who demonstrate specific skill sets will be asked to tryout for the team program. If there is availability in our levels, our tryouts are held in late spring of each year. Gymnasts progress from USAG level 1 through level 10. All team levels are asked to compete, though some competitions may be specific to certain levels only. Mobility is at the coaches discretion.

USAG Men's Teams
All participants in the competitive program are by invite only – participation is at the coaches discretion. Each athlete must pass a skill evaluation based on specific skill requirements. All competitive athletes must compete in their designated season and must be YMCA members.
USAG Men’s Bronze/Silver team practices 2 days per week for 3 hours each day and is a year round program. Practices: Tuesday 12:00pm-3:00pm; Friday 10:00am-1:00pm
USAG Men’s Level 3 & 4 team practices 3 days per week for 3 hours each day and is a year round program. Practices: Tuesday & Thursday 12:00pm-3:00pm; Friday 10:00am-1:00pm
USAG Men’s Level 5 team practices four days per week for three hours each day and is a year round program. Practices: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00am-1:00pm
USAG Men’s Level 6-8 team practices four days per week for three hours each day and is a year round program. Practices: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00am-1:00pm
USAG Men’s Level 9-10 team practices 5 days per week for 3 hours each day and is a year round program. Practices: Monday 8:00-10:00am; Tuesday & Thursday 8:00am-12:00pm; Wednesday & Friday 8:00am-1:00pm
USAG Women's Teams

USAG Women’s Level 3-4 team practices 3 days per week for 3 hours each day and is a year round program. Practices: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 2:00-5:00pm
USAG Women’s Level 6 team practices 3 days per week for 4 hours each day. Practices: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 1:00-5:00pm
USAG Women’s Level 7-10 team practices 4 days per week for 5 hours each day. Practices: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-1:00pm
USAG Women’s Xcel Diamond team practices 3 days per week for 4 hours each day and is a year round program. Practices: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 1:00-5:00pm
USAG Women’s Xcel Silver team practices two days per week for three hours and is a year round program. Practices: Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00am-12:00pm
