Armed Services
Deployment can be a stressful and uncertain time for our nation’s servicemen and women and their families. In partnership with the Armed Services YMCA and the Department of Defense, the Y is proud to offer discounted memberships and child care services to military families and personnel to give them extra support during this difficult period. It’s our way of giving back to those who dedicate themselves to serving our country.
At the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, we pride ourselves on providing programs for our military families. We offer contracted childcare to military events. Our main goal is to ensure that our military families know that they have the Y family to support them.
Freedom Friday
*Freedom Friday-This services is a Friday evening date night for parents and runs from 6-10pm. Children ages 6wks – 12 yrs of age. Children will enjoy a night of fun activities, movies, and more.
Military pricing is available. *MUST SHOW MILITARY ID
Parents must pay at the time of registration to be placed on list.

Military Ball
Ages 12 & Under
*Military Ball Care
Fort Stewart tasked us through contract to send staff to the location of the military ball, to care for children of the soldiers attending the formal event. This service allows soldiers to attend the ball and have child care, which is a hardship on families who do not have local baby sitting. This service is contractual and arranged well in advance with the ASYMCA program director.
