Swim Team

Does your child love to swim? Have them join our Y Swim Team! Allow your child to learn and grasp the competitive side of swimming. Your child will learn all 4 swim strokes, proper diving, and flip turns. As a parent, need to equip them with the tools they need to be confident in and around water so they don’t lose out on the health benefits of exercise, the opportunities to bond with family and friends, and the sense of accomplishment when they learn new skills.

With our YMCA of Coastal Georgia’s Swim Teams, they will enrich children how to properly and safely learn the world of competitive swimming. We offer seasonal and year-round swim teams at various branches. As we are a part of the Coastal Empire, it is vital that everyone learn how to swim in a safe, fun, and competitive environment.

Swimmers are encouraged to attend both Tuesday and Thursday evening practices each week.

Green Team (age 10 and under): 5:00-6:00pm
Black Team (age 11 and older): 5:00-7:00pm

Requirements to join: Swimmers must have a passion for the water and enjoy having fun!
